Halloween Celebrations

HALLOWEEN is a holiday celebrated annually on 31 October.
It is the evening just before the two Christian holy days called the All Hallows’ Day:
# All Saints’ or Hallowmas on 1 November
# All Souls’ Day on 2 November. Halloween is based on an ancient Celtic holiday known as Samhain [sah-win] which means, “summer’s end” or end of Harvest Season.
# Halloween is a very old festival that is still celebrated in countries around the world today, and each country has its own interesting set of customs and traditions. Myths and legends surround this mysteriously spooky holiday, but Halloween can also be a lot of fun with a little imagination and creativity! So the students came dressed in different spooky costumes and had lots of fun.
